About
Making the Ordinary Extraordinary
On the Flip Side was founded to bring fresh energy to the art world — connecting audiences, institutions, and brands through experiences that make art feel both extraordinary and accessible.
About Christina Eberli
Christina began her career at Sotheby’s in New York, where she spent nearly nine years as a Restitution Specialist working closely with institutions across the US and Europe.
In 2013, while still at Sotheby’s, she founded On the Flip Side—a lecture series created to connect audiences with the stories, context, and people behind works of art. In 2018, she left Sotheby’s to grow the platform full-time, where she developed high-profile collaborations with institutions such as Cartier, Christie’s, the Louvre, and The Frick Collection.
In 2024, she earned a Master’s in International Marketing from King’s College London, deepening her ability to combine scholarship with effective communication and visitor insight.
Christina co-founded the Athena Art Foundation's private members' club, The Owl Club, and currently manages its London branch while developing its programming.
On the Flip Side has evolved into a wider offering: audience engagement insight, cultural programming, events, and collection advisory.
